The Christian fellowship of believers known as Firm Foundation Ministries of Centreville, Michigan first met for worship in October of 1996. The church was under the leadership of Pastor Jay Ulrich who remained as pastor until March 28, 2004. Now the church is under the leadership of Pastor Don M. Smith.

The First Meeting

The first meeting for church service was held at the FOP lodge with 47 people attending. Attendance soon doubled, mandating a move to a larger facility. This search lead FFM to a cooperative rental agreement with Centreville Seventh Day Adventist until October of 2006. This move allowed for further growth and expansion of praise and worship services, expanded Sunday school classes, special events, guest speakers, and fellowship meals.

Continued Blessings

The Lord has continued to bless FFM with growth and actions as we were able to move into our own permanent FFM worship and education center in October of 2006. This facility is located at the east edge of Centreville, Michigan on ten acres of land, next to the Royal Cafe restaurant on M-86.

Due to an over abundance of young families, we quickly outgrew our nurseries and needed additional room for Children's church. We were able to purchase and install four modular buildings which we began using for Sunday School, Children's church and our Youth Group in October of 2008. This allowed us to use the old youth room for a larger nursery.

In 2018, we completed Phase 2 of our church building, which included additional classrooms, office space, bathrooms, a conference room, a designated youth room, and a new kitchen.

Over the years, our church has experienced substantial growth, prompting us to expand our facilities. In 2024, we concluded Phase 3 of our church building expansion. This phase included the addition of more classrooms, additional offices, a larger kitchen, a space for our Cross Culture Cafe, an extra youth room, and our gymnasium, Camden Hall, which was named in memory of Camden Sneed.

We continue to make room for more as many are drawn to each service to feel the presence of the Lord.
